- What are the electrical requirements?
We require a dedicated 120-volt outlet within 50′ of the unit’s final set up location.
- Can I tow the trailer myself?
No. Each rental unit must be delivered, set up, and started by trained Capital Cooler Rentals staff.
- Are the units lockable?
Yes. Each unit can be locked for security, using either a pad lock or the door lock, depending on the unit model.
- Can your units freeze and cool?
Yes! Our refrigerated trailers are able to act as a cooler or a freezer (down to a maximum of -12 degrees Celsius) but cannot do both at the same time –they are not dividable.
- What size trailers are available?
Capital Cooler Rentals offers three sizes of rental units: 6’x8′, 6’x10′ and 6’x12′. Please contact your local office for the specific sizes available in your region.
- What payment methods do you accept?
We use PayPal to send our invoices, and we collect payment via Visa or MasterCard. Alternatively, we also accept e-transfers or cheques if the booking is made far enough in advance.
- Do you also offer trailers for sale?
Yes. We also build and sell cooler and freezer trailers. Please contact the Ottawa office for more details.
- Do you build walk-in coolers and freezers for commercial locations?
Yes. We also build commercial walk-in coolers and freezers. Please contact the Ottawa office for more details.
- What about delivery & pick-up?
We deliver and set up each rental unit, and we pick up and take down the trailer at the end of the rental period. Delivery and pickup fees vary and are based on distance. Please contact your local office for additional details.
Shawn and Bruce at Capital Cooler Rentals were integral in the success of Canada's Table, our little dinner party for 1,000 last summer celebrating Canada's 150. Their fabulous refrigeration systems and amazing service made it easy for all the visiting chefs to do their very best, in what was a challenging environment.
